:: Shield-like center medallion with interior concentric minor medallion bearing thin vines finished in blossoms. Main border in a tulip and floral cross-section repeating design motif. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion. Heavy abrashes throughout. Colors and shades include: Cream, beige, antique ivory, dark chocolate brown, silver, platinum, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 3'11" whereas the opposing measures 4'2". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 4'2" x 5'11".
