:: Double center medallions in an asymmetric scale and pattern fill enveloped by hook and latch motif atop an indigo blue field, covered with pinwheels, serpents, and rams horn design elements. In lower right corner a herdsman corralling an animal and other nuances. Colors and shades include: Indigo blue, terra cotta, pale blush, ivory, mallard green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across with isolated areas of foundation showing through and several old mends. Secure side cord selvages and mostly secure ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted vintage Caucasian rug made in the Caucasus circa 1930's vintage.
