:: Center medallion with outwardly directed classic trefoil contour design elements with cypress tree like floral leaves and inwardly wrapped arabesques partially reminiscent of cloudband design elements. Colors and shades include: Raspberry red, navy blue, cobalt blue, beige, cochineal red, antique ivory, sand, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Extensive restorations with change in orientation given a derivative from what was once a significantly larger carpet whereas fringes have continued to the side and the bottom and top of the carpet are now converted to selvage with expert rendition of primitive thin banded solid borders rewoven therein. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Doroksh rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage.
