Antique Afshar Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Diamond shaped center medallion with diminutive botehs in the interior with floral cross-sections and geometric contour atop a covered field of serrated leaves and partial suggested Herati motif. Colors and shades include: Dark dusty teal, navy blue, ivory, terracotta, cochineal red, olive green, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Afshar carpet made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 5'5" x 6'5".
