Antique Fragment Turkmen Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Double paneled germinating plants and floral design elements mirrored and repeating across, wrapped in part by singular minor borders of starburst guls, further enveloped with outer minor border in rams horn design motifs. Colors and shades include: Wine red, burgundy, oxidized silver, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Numerous areas of holes, most of which are secured with interior darning. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkmen carpet made in Turkmenistan circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 5'5" x 6'8".
