:: Heavy European influence with a concentric shadow medallion surrounding a roundel interior main medallion constituted of brightly colored floral blossoms with long petals. Design is reminiscent of those found in Karabagh and Bessarabain rugs. Colors and shades include: Coffee brown, oxidized silver, pink, fuchsia, magenta, pale tangerine orange, antique ivory, sea foam green, sage green, olive green, cherry red, burgundy wine red, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Uzbeki Khotan carpet made in Uzbekistan circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 5'8" x 7'6".
