:: Finely knotted Malayer with deeply saturated tones in an allover covered Herati motif main field wrapped by meandering vine main borders. Colors and shades include: Dark ruby red, mallard green, sapphire blue, aubergine, ivory, dusty teal, pale saffron yellow, ruby red grapefruit and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One side measures 6'2" whereas the opposing measures 6'6". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'10" x 6'6".
