:: Amazing fine wool with high gloss sheen in a late Serapi early Heriz weave with an unusual allover covered field of partial Herati design rendering with unusual accents scattered throughout including geometric pinwheel starburst floral design renderings, uniquely nuanced floral cross sections, scattered pomegranates, maybe a hidden weaver serpent! So much to look at in extremely unique original square format proportions and a wild array of unique shades. Colors and shades include: Deep navy blue, madder root red, blush, dusty teal, oxidized copper green, lime green, gold, silver, powder blue, sky blue, and deep aubergine. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Mostly secure sides and ends. Minor loss to both ends. Repairs in varying degrees of expertise. One area along the selvage is missing approximately six inches. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz square rug made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 5' x 5'11".
