5x7 Vintage Distressed Melas Rug

:: Single center medallion with trefoil contour and details throughout. Adorned at either end by halved minor medallions on either side of the main field. Continuous geometric lattice details filling the neutral space in the main ground. Wide banded main border in sharp serrated rams horn reminiscent design motifs in alternating coloration and outline. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, beige, silver, charcoal, seafoam green, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Melas rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 4'11" x 7'1".
