5x8.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet

:: Oversized scalloped center medallion with double tiered trefoil finial with germinating blossomed floral cross-sections. Colors and shades include: Pale cochineal red, pale denim blue, dusty powder blue, beige, ivory, soft sand, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Selvages were reinforced and wrapped by a machine. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1980's vintage. Size measures 5'1" x 8'8".
