Vintage Mehrivan Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Shield like center medallion with oversize serrated palmette finials atop a covered field of leaves and vines. Main border in a turtle samovar design motif. Colors and shades include: Dusty sandalwood, dusty terra cotta, pale rose rust, navy blue, sapphire blue, coffee brown, bronze, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor reduction to both ends resulting in loss to outer minor border. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehrivan carpet made in Persia circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 6'8" x 9'7".
