:: Oversized center medallion atop a heavily abrashed field with scrolling tendrils in each corner spandrel. Wrapped by a main border of floating serrated leaves and palmettes in simplistic design relief, each nuanced with its own unique drawing and inverted coloration. Colors and shades include: Ivory, cream, beige, sand, coffee brown, pale fuchsia, pale tangerine orange, silver, pale raspberry red, pale cochineal red, blush pink, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Fully secured sides and ends. Possible professional reduction to outer perimeter. Extremely dense and heavy construction. Minor moth etching to the reverse of one side corner, approximately eight inches by eight inches. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Kars carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 6'7" x 9'.
