6x8 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet

:: Roundel center medallion with oversized palmette finials and corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Weaver delimiters of wefts meeting visible on the face of the carpet telling the story and process of weaving! Colors and shades include: Beige, sea foam green, pale coffee brown and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 5’8.5” vs the opposing at 6’1”. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 6'1" x 8'1".
