6x9 Vintage Distressed Kars Carpet

:: Allover covered field in repeating trellis interior seed design motif with heavy abrashes across. Wrapped by a main outer striped border with geometric serrated leaves. Colors and shades include: Cream, coffee brown, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of repairs, patches, reweaves, and oxidation. This carpet has significant differentials from one end to the opposing based on likely having been woven on a wooden loom, with one end measuring 5'9" as opposed to 6'3". The contour and irregularity of shape are outside of normal range adding to the charm and character of the rug. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
