:: An overdyed carpet with center medallion atop a predominantly open field. The character tells a story of a carpet many years past its true age through wear and distress, imparting emphasis on texture and structure of the weaving itself - "lazy lines" as evidence of foundation and construction exposing the tracings of weavers paths! Colors and shades include: Dark grey, oxidized silver, hints of pale royal blue, and dark dusty blush apricot. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with isolated areas of foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Overdyed Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 5'9" x 9'1".
