:: Oversized center medallion with large scale palmette finials adorned each end atop a covered ground of geometric arabesques, serrated leaves, blossoms. Main border in a Turtle Samovar design and partial Herati motif. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, cobalt blue, navy blue, mallard green, dusty blush, emerald green, sky blue, powder blue, dusty beige, gold, ivory and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides. Minor loss to one corner, minor loss to one end. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 7'9" x 10'10".
