7x10.5 Vintage Distressed Tabriz Carpet

:: A Tabriz carpet from the second quarter of the 20th century shows a pale, all-over floral field with scattered blossoms and palmettes arranged around a reciprocating pawn motif. The central area is framed by a wide inner border in muted blue and brown, and the outer border repeats a vase-and-foliage pattern with small floral accents. The overall composition is soft and evenly distributed, with the border motifs echoing the fields delicate ornamentation. Colors and shades include: Cream, dusty powder blue, pale seafoam green, pale coffee brown, oxidized copper green, ivory, antique ivory, sand, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Secure sides, fully secured ends. Machine bound sides and ends. Light reduction to the perimeter.
