Vintage Distressed Joshegan Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Covered field in willow tree panels, diamond shaped floral bouquets, quatrefoil oriented floral top views, a main border with scrolling dragon stylized arabesques and floral palmettes. Outer and inner minor borders in a reciprocating pawn design motif. Colors and shades include: Pomegranate red, ivory, sky blue, powder blue, seafoam green, pale coffee brown and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Joshegan carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 7'1" x 9'11".
