:: Oversized center medallion with scalloped contour, slight horizontal elongation, adorned at either opposing end with decorative finials atop a predominantly open field. Oversize corner spandrels mimicking in part the contour found in the main medallion, with scrolling features and decorative finishes similar to Rococo stylization. Colors and shades include: Dusty apricot, faded midnight blue, antique ivory, chocolate brown, mint green, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with large areas of foundation showing through, namely those whereby the weavers meet on the loom. Fully secured sides and ends.This and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side for processing purposes. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 6'11" x 9'10".
