7x16.5 Vintage Fine Distressed Malayer Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Concentric center medallions of starburst interior and partial roundel outer scalloped contour with double tiered finials atop a covered field of henna plants arranged in individual panels within a trellis mapping with abrashes across. Colors and shades include: Terracotta, rust, dusty sky blue, beige, antique ivory, pale sea foam green, chestnut, pale copper, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple large areas of expert restorations accounting for up to four square feet. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 7'1" x 16'7".
