:: Oversized scrolled serrated leaves and double palmette central design elements outwardly directed atop a covered field of geometric floral top views, pomegranates, and even a few serpents scattered and hidden throughout. Main border bearing heavy abrash with a Turtle Samovar design motif and partial Herati rendition. Colors and shades include: Madder root red blush, charcoal, oxidized silver, dusty teal, pale gold, platinum, burgundy wine red, pomegranate red, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 6'8" whereas the opposing measures 6'11". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 6'11" x 9'4".
