:: Classic Turkmen carpet featuring four columns of floral guls in a traditional "Bokhara" motif, or "Elephant's Footprint" design. The main border is particularly unique. Either side emulating well sprouted germinating plants, while opposing end main borders feature simplified version of the sides, reminiscent of the top view of a pomegranate. Colors and shades include: Chestnut brown, navy blue, antique ivory and more. Condition notes: Mostly even low pile across with fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkmen carpet made in Turkmenistan circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 7' x 9'7".
