:: Concentric center medallions in quatrefoil and shield-like contour adorned at either end by oversized finned palmettes atop a covered ground of geometric blossoms, germinating plants, and minor buds. Main border in a wide banded serrated leaf meandering vine design motif. Colors and shades include: Beige, sand, antique ivory, oxidized silver, pale coffee brown, dusty powder blue, pale slate blue, charcoal, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Fully secured sides and ends. Machine bound sides. Localized areas of recess to foundation on the reverse side due to old moth nibbles, since treated. Some differential in shades when the reverse is compared to the front. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 8'6" x 11'7".
