Vintage Distressed Heriz Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Concentric center medallion in large scale format adorned at either end by serrated palmettes atop a covered field of germinating buds and serrated leaves in geometric relief. Main border in an interconnected vine and turtle samovar design motif. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, slate blue, dusty powder blue, beige, sand, ivory, platinum, silver, oxidized silver and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 8'4" x 11'6".
