:: Oversize concentric scalloped center medallions adorned by large scale shadow palmette finials wrapped by stepped corner spandrels and a meandering vine Samovar main border. Colors and shades include: Platinum, silver, pale coffee brown, ivory, cotton white, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One foot by nine inch repiled rewoven area close to a corner, as well as a fifteen by seven inch area to the corner, with multiple mends throughout. Width measured 8'3" on one end as opposed to the 8'8" cited in the listing, within normal margins for type and age. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 8'8" x 11'6".
