:: Concentric medallions in quatrefoil orientation bearing outwardly directed palmettes finished with large scale finials at either side of the main medallion atop a covered field of geometric blossoms, floral arabesques, serrated leaves and more. Excellent color range and saturation, especially the polychromatic side selvage accenting the unusual green corner spandrels, and interior powder blue main medallion. Colors and shades include: Brick red, navy blue, cobalt blue, emerald green, ivory, beige, sand, jade green, pale mallard green, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some of the original side cord selvages showing newer addendum restoration with some light tattering to very isolated areas. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 8'8" x 11'.
