:: Scalloped shield-like center medallion atop a heavily abrashed ground with sprawling scrolled serrated leaves, floral top views, ferns, palmettes, and vinery interconnecting all. Main border in a checkered lily style design rendering. Heavy change of dye lot toward the top of the rug. Colors and shades include: Pale coffee brown, deep brick red, cherry red, dusty teal, faded navy blue, pale powder blue, sand, copper, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Reduction to both ends into the main border. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 8'2" x 11'6".
