Vintage Distressed Mehrivan Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Allover covered field with elongated vines in geometric relief with multi-tiered scrolled serrated leaves and geometric buds throughout. Main border in a classic Samovar Turtle design. Colors and shades include: Pale terracotta, dusty sky blue, oxidized silver, silver, slate blue, faded brick red, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mehrivan carpet made in Persia circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 8'2" x 11'2".
