Amazing splendor in the design execution, known as the 'Bokhara' motif or 'elephant footprint' design (actually geometric floral designs) in the spirit yesteryear Tekke carpets. Plush, soft, silk-like pile. Superb quality, long-stapled wool with high sheen and luster adding to great dynamic and contrast from light and dark sides. Colors and shades include: Wine red, burgundy, cobalt blue, ivory and more. Condition notes: Like-new, original full pile height even across. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. This rug is wider than it is long, and sizes have been inverted from our normal convention to ensure presence in our size range search filter. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Pakistani Bokhara square carpet made in Pakistan circa 1980's vintage. Size measures 8'1" x 8'2".
