:: Palmettes covering the main field in diagonal orientation arranged in rows and columns inspired by Safavid carpets atop a covered field of minor blossoms, interconnected vinery, and scrolled leaves. Colors and shades include: Dark terracotta, pale powder blue, chocolate brown, pale rust, ivory, sand, beige, platinum and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tabriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 9'5" x 12'6".
