:: Covered field in unusual diamond shaped outlined spandrels with interior panels in trellis orientation of germinating plants. Main border in a Samovar meandering vine design motif. Rare ground color. Colors and shades include: Saffron yellow, brick red, ivory, dusty teal, blush, rose, cherry red, sapphire blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of professional restoration. Several areas of blemishes, oxidation, and old stains. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 9'4" x 12'3".
