:: Oversized center medallion with intricate meandering vines stemming therefrom atop a covered field of geometric blossoms, buds, palmettes, floral arabesques and more. Main border in an unusual meandering vine in part dragon style reciprocating contour design element with interior germinating plants. Colors and shades include: Brick red, dusty blush, navy blue, powder blue, mallard green, cherry red, dusty jade green, beige, sand, ivory and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight oxidation and softening to shades / patina. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 9'7" x 12'.
