9x10 Vintage Fragmented Bijar Square Carpet

:: Starburst center medallion atop an allover repeating field of herati motif. Corner spandrels, center medallion, and main border all feature European influenced design. Colors and shades include: Cherry brick red, navy blue, indigo blue, sky blue, oxidized copper green, forest green, ivory, blush, silver, beige, and more. Condition notes: Even pile across with original side cord selvages and end finishing/macramé intact. Substantial reduction to either side of the medallion, performed within the interior of the carpet. Professionally performed and rather convincing, although seam lines are visible from the face with slight impact to the aesthetic to the medallion finials. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian fragmented Bijar square carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 8'9" x 9'8".
