:: Minor scalloped center medallion with diamond shaped relief wrapped by a shadow medallion defined by design density of floral bouquets, blossoms, vinery, interconnecting arabesques. Wrapped by a floating main field overlay in Rococo stylization. Main border in a boteh germinating plant design motif. Colors and shades include: Deep terracotta, rust, chestnut, ivory, antique ivory, beige, dusty olive green, dusty gold, chocolate brown, coffee brown, slate blue, copper, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Sarouk carpet made in Persia circa 1940's vintage.
