:: Unusual allover covered field format for a Lilihan rug of this size and scale - bold palmettes in lattice orientation and diagonal drawing orientation with interconnected tendrils in arabesque contour wrapped by a palmette blossom main border. Colors and shades include: Dark navy blue, madder root terra cotta, powder blue, sky blue, pale coffee brown, dusty rose, dusty lime green, pale saffron yellow, cream, ivory and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. White knots show across the main field. Small blue discoloration localized to one corner. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Lilihan carpet made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 8'11" x 11'10".
