:: This is quite a lovely and incredibly unique Northwest Persian area rug, vintage 1910-1930's. It is quite versatile in color and design and would fit in nicely with a myriad of spaces. It has a repeating Mir motif field with an unusual non-reciprocating laleh abassi border (looks like a row of pawns). Border is quite a unique rendition, exhibiting an unusual character all being the same width + geometric meandering leaf design. This gem is definitely among the more interestingly unique early 20th century pieces we have had in our shop and has such a great look to add to it! Condition notes: there are a couple of very small repairs and some slight softening to the red dye, some looseness of the selvage and otherwise wonderful condition. Exact size is 4' x 6'5".
