:: Center floral outwardly directed bouquet bell blossoms wrapped by a meandering vine main border and serpent inner and outer minor borders. A very fine weave for the type, likely a sampler. Excellent period correct painted carpet, likely woven by Armenian weavers, common for the type and region. Super soft, luxurious, wool with high sheen and luster. Colors and shades include: Burgundy wine red, sapphire blue, emerald green, dusty gold, beige, pale coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Two areas of repiling approximately the size of a quarter. This rug is wider than it is long, and sizes have been inverted from our normal convention to ensure presence in our size range search filter. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
