:: Allover covered Herati main field with a wide banded main border. Colors and shades include: Sapphire blue, antique ivory, cochineal red, beige, burgundy wine red, navy blue, aubergine, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Restoration to both ends near main border, not reduced in original size, expert adjustments and restorations to square off to lay flat and proper. There is a dark charcoal shade which is naturally recessed in one or two areas based on mordants, dyes and genuine age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bakshaish square carpet made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 10'9" x 12'2".
