Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug Product Description and Details
:: Oversize lozenge shaped center medallion with interior loral bouquet adorned by minor trefoil finials atop a narrow banded main field and serpent inner corner spandrels. Colors and shades include: Ruby red grapefruit, silver, platinum, pale tangerine orange, pomegranate red and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Professional restoration resulting in slight reduction to both ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'8" x 3'10".
