2.5x4 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Covered field of pomegranate top views and a geometric hook and latch diamond shaped gul. Main border in wide banded contour with colorful, oversize pomegranate top views. Colors and shades include: Ivory, platinum, beige, mint green, turquoise, tangerine orange, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Wefting of rug is black cotton and speckles throughout the carpet like peppercorns where the wefts are tied together. One end measures 2'4" whereas the opposing measures 2'7" while one side measures 3'10" whereas the opposing measures 4'. This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side.
