:: Oversize roundel center medallion with scalloped contour and diminutive end finials atop an open ivory field with book cover corner spandrel overlays and inwardly bursting floral arrangements. Main border comprised of intricate floral and possible Cyprus tree design elements. Outer stripe border decorated with a suggestive reciprocating pawn motif. Colors and shades include: Ivory, navy blue, cochineal red, faded raspberry red, beige, sand, powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Worn, although mostly intact and secure side cord selvages. Minor loss to one end, half of outer minor border lost on the opposing end. Showing light tatter. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kermanshah square rug made in Persia circa 1900's vintage. Size measures 1'10" x 2'7".
