Excellent balance between positive and neutral spacing with nuanced unique color fill character throughout and densely ornamented design rendering with unique character with artistic merit. Unusual, rare, unreduced example with original character intact, and hallmark signature Fereghan green main border ground. Scarce example for the type! Colors and shades include: Navy blue, sky blue, oxidized copper green, rust, terra cotta, beige, and more. Condition notes: Even, short pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Some recess to the green border color pile based on age and mordants. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Fereghan rug runner made in Persia circa 1870's vintage. Size measures 3'5" x 16'6".
