3.5x8 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug Runner

:: Repeating single column center medallions in concentric relief wrapped by hook and latch design rendering reciprocating therein. Colors and shades include: Blush, bronze, ruby red grapefruit, pale mint green, copper, mint green, powder blue, ivory, pale mauve and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Small professional restoration approximately 1"x2". At some point in its past this carpet had been professionally reduced from it's original size and length, likely in longer proportions as the end border on the reverse side of the carpet shows interior reduction and concealed in-seaming and adhesive. The work is quite convincing on the face of the carpet. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug runner made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 3'4" x 7'9".
