:: A single-column arrangement of center medallions rendered in alternating inverted, unpatterned colorations, each defined by stepped contours and enclosing a floral, diamond-shaped inner medallion. The field is densely covered with multicolored, tiered germinating plant forms, creating a richly layered visual effect. Surrounding the field are pinwheel-style floral rosettes forming both inner and outer guard borders, all enclosed by a dramatic main border of sharply serrated leaves. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, mallard green, sky blue, ochre gold, ivory, powder blue, blush, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end expertly restored. Multiple areas of professional repairs.
