:: Allover covered field in palmette design elements in diagonal orientation interconnected by vines and partial trellis and shadow medallion-like contouring. Scattered birds and animals throughout the main field. Colors and shades include: Dark chocolate brown, antique ivory, beige, pale coffee brown, platinum, silver, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor reduction to one end. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'7" x 11'.
