4.5x6.5 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Center medallion with concentric scrolled enveloped outlines in sprawling vines in spiral format wrapped by a main border of lattice-like floral leaves and top view renderings. Colors and shades include: Pale pink, dusty pale rose, beige, sand, magenta, pink, silver, oxidized silver and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 4'4" whereas the opposing end measures 4'7". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Reduction to both ends. Areas of repair in varying degrees of expertise. Light uneven tension in the selvage and both sides which may lightly ease though use and enjoyment. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 4'7" x 6'5".
