:: Rare and unusual ivory ground perpedil Caucasian carpet featuring a rams horn design motif. Cited, in part, from the paintings of Hans Holbein. Fantastic geometric Kufic border. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, madder root red, sky blue, dusty gold, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Multiple areas of mending, darning, repiling. One large split drawn together in the main border. Fully secured on the interior, with light tatter to the sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian Perpedil rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1880's vintage. Size measures 4'2" x 6'2".
