RESERVED 5x9 Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet

:: Center medallion atop a covered field of floral arabesques wrapped by meandering vine minor borders and floral filled cartouche main border with a few hidden horses and birds scattered throughout. Colors and shades include: Chocolate brown, coffee brown, dusty blush, teal, sky blue, sapphire blue, oxidized silver, cream, seafoam green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Secure sides, fully secured ends. Machine bound sides and ends. Multiple repairs in varying degrees of expertise. Carpet has two patches, both are approximately 2" x 2". One end measures 4'11" whereas the opposing measures 5'1". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1980's vintage. Size measures 5'1" x 8'11".
