:: Center medallion in roundel contour adorned by oversized palmettes in arrowed trefoil contour similar in general relief to a floral rendering of a bat atop an open abrashed field. Corner spandrel and field overlays in a classic Herati design motif with a main border in a turtle samovar and boteh design. Colors and shades include: Dusty blush, dusty rose, pale faded cochineal red, ivory, beige, sand, silver, chocolate brown, platinum and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of minor repair and restoration. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Bijar carpet made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 7'5" x 11'7".
