Vintage Distressed Oushak Carpet Product Description and Details

:: Center medallion with interior outwardly directed botehs adorned at either end by Samovar stylized finials atop an abrashed ground with field overlay in a classic book cover rendering and corner spandrels inwardly directed and reconciled with additional paisley botehs. Colors and shades include: Soft red, oxidized silver, cream, beige, navy blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 7'3" whereas the opposing measures 7'5". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 7'5" x 11'6".
